Legacy of Hot Lake
Legacy of Hot Lake
For generations, Hot Lake’s geothermal springs have drawn people, from the Nez Perce who cherished the waters long ago, to Oregon Trail travelers resting in the 1800s, and visitors flocking to the grand 1906 resort in its heyday. After fires, decline, and quiet years, the property found new life in 2020 with dedicated owners committed to careful restoration. Today, we’re preserving the historic charm while growing this special place, adding soaking options, amenities, and more ways to enjoy Northeast Oregon’s timeless geothermal treasure.
